FORMER Super Eagles of Nigeria manager, Sunday Oliseh, has been appointed as the new Head Coach of German Regionalliga West side SV Straelen.
The 47 years old tactician and Olympic Gold Medalist who was formerly the manager of Dutch club Fortuna Sittard returns back to coaching duties after four years away.
"Sunday Oliseh will be our new coach. In the last 24 hours we have also been able to agree on an employment contract until June 30, 2023," Straelen's President Hermann Tecklenburg told RevierSport.
Oliseh is not new to the German League as he has 139 career appearances under his belt in the German Bundesliga for FC Köln, Borussia Dortmund and VfL Bochum, scoring six goals.
Oliseh during his time as Super Eagles of Nigeria manager made an impressive statistic of; 14 Games (Only 2 losses) 19 Goals scored, 6 conceded.
He is expected to be in charge of SV Straelen when they take on the Bundesliga side, St Pauli, in their first competitive game of the 2022-2023 season.
