Emmanuel Dennis could potentially lose out of making another appearance for the Super Eagles of Nigeria after he was confirmed to have picked up a knee injury.

The 24 years old forward was among the 30 man shortlisted by assistant coach Salisu Yusuf to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador in May and June respectively.

With the injury, it is in doubt that the player would be fit in time for the friendly against Mexico and Ecuador has he wont be playing any of Watford games for the rest of the season.

In quotes relayed by Watford Observer, Watford manager Roy Hodgson said: "Tom Cleverley has severely bruised ribs and then Sarr and Dennis with their knee injuries won't be risked. Those names, you can forget them".

With Watford confirmed to be relegated out of the Premier League and back to the championship, Dennis who has scored 10 Premier League goals this season could leave the club should a suitable offer come in.
