THE man in charge of the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the ongoing 2023 AFCON tournament, Jose Peseiro, has told reporters that he is yet to be sure if Stanley Nwabali will be fit against Angola.

Stanley Nwabali sustained a mild ligament injury in Nigeria's 2-0 win against Cameroon during the Round of 16 fixtures as Francis Uzoho had to be called upon to replace him before the end of the game.

“But we are confident in the other goalkeepers in the team. We have Francis Uzoho and Olorunleke Ojo. They are capable of replacing Stanley,” he added.

The Super Eagles will be hoping to defeat Angola tomorrow and edge closer to securing what could be their fourth AFCON title.
