JOSE Peseiro, who manages the Super Eagles of Nigeria has explained Ademola Lookman's versatility, stating the various positions the player can play for club and country.
The former Everton and Charlton Athletic player has been mostly deployed as a supporting striker at the club level for Atalanta but at the national level, has been used as a left winger.
Peseiro believes that Ademola Lookman is versatile enough to be deployed in two other positions apart from the supporting striker and left winger he currently plays.
Peseiro told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I make him the left wing of the trident, but he knows how to play in different roles: false nine, second striker, right winger, or on the left-handed side.
“This is his strong point. And then you already saw it last year: he has a remarkable speed of execution.”
Lookman, who has 29 goals involvement for Atalanta, won the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup with England and is now set to represent Nigeria in his first major tournament next month at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
