Peseiro believes Napoli would find it hard to keep Osimhen

Osimhen's goal-scoring record has made him a target for top clubs, with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United closely watching the Nigerian international and could swoop in at any time.

HEAD Coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro believes that Napoli would find it hard to hold on to Victor Osimhen as transfer rumours keep coming up.

The 23-year-old forward returned from Injury and immediately resumed his goal-scoring form for the Italian club with a tally of 8 goals and 2 assists in ten league games.

This form has made him a target for other top European clubs with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United closely watching the Nigerian international and could swoop in at any time.

Peseiro insists that, with the increasing demand, Napoli would find it hard to keep the player to themselves

"Osimhen scores a lot and he is young. It is certainly not easy, usually, a centre forward finds this level later on. But he always scores, at this moment I don't think I'm wrong if I say that every team in the world wants to buy him. He knows how to press, he knows how to score. He knows how to use his body. He would know how to play in all teams.

"Napoli is playing very well, they are first, and the benefits are for both. For him, for the coach, and for his teammates. Keeping a player like this for Napoli will not be easy given the value and the demands he will have. Complete centre-forward; he assists, scores from the right, and left, is strong in the defensive phase, knows how to press and is not easy to defend for a central defender," Peseiro told the Napoli Magazine.

Osimhen is expected to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Thursday, November 17, when they face Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in a friendly fixture.
