MANCHESTER City boss, Pep Guardiola has admitted that winning the Premier League trophy for the fourth time would be a difficult challenge as no one has done it in the Premier League history.

Guardiola’s Manchester City were crowned champions for the third consecutive time last season and are among the favourites to secure the trophy again this season.

Despite the Men in Blues being among the favourites to win the ongoing league, Pep has been modest about it as he believes it would be a difficult challenge.

"The Treble had an influence on all of us, me included. So we need to be there, arriving in the final moments at the end of the season, being close to the opponents and trying to do it again.

“I said many times that no one has won four Premier League titles in a row, never ever, so that shows how difficult it is. But now it’s important to be there, especially in the Champions League, to qualify for the next round,” Guardiola said.

Pep's side would play rivals, Manchester United on Sunday as they look to secure the first win of the Manchester Derby.
