THE Super Eagles of Nigeria will be back in action against Algeria on Sunday, October 4, 2020 with an average of 10,000 fans to be in attendance at the match in Austria.

As the Austrian government relaxed the Covid-19 restrictions, it has agreed to a maximum of 10,000 fans to watch the match.

Head of Austria Bundesliga, Christian Ebenbauer said: "Football thrives on emotions, not only on the pitch but also on the stands. So it wasn't an easy decision for clubs to take, to allow as many home fans as possible and to do without visiting clubs' fans during the coronavirus restrictions."

Nigeria will be without Wilfred Ndidi who has a groin injury, as they play against the Desert Fox of Algeria in Austria.

Algeria will also be without five of their first team players in the coming fixture at Austria and against Mexico.
