NFF hires new media officers for national teams

The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed Mr Babafemi Raji as the new media officer of the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Mrs Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu as media officer of the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed Mr Babafemi Raji as the new media officer of the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Mrs Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu as media officer of the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

Mr Babafemi Raji took over from Toyin Ibitoye who has been media officer for more than five years. Raji graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife with a Bachelor of Arts (English) degree in 2006. He was a member of the 2010 FIFA   World Cup Media Committee.

 Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu, also known as TobexSports, takes over from Miss Jane Onyinye Nweze. She graduated as the second best graduating student in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi and then went on to acquire a Master's degree in Mass Communication from the Lagos State University. She is also a former footballer who has played for Hanza Queens and Ibom Angels.

Regarding the duo, the NFF Director of Media and Communications, Ademola Olajire, said: "Mr Ibitoye and Miss Nweze were superb to work with. They demonstrated excellent people skills and acuity, and were diligent, energetic and knowledgeable. We wish them the very best in their endeavours going forward."
