NFF announces vacancy for Senior Men team manager

The Federation is looking to replace Jose Peseiro and named what the successor will be expected to have to take charge of the Super Eagles.

THE Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced a vacancy for the post of senior men manager as they list the requirements the manager must have.

Recall that Jose Peseiro announced that he would not be signing a new contract with the NFF after his contract ended in February. He left the role after taking the Super Eagles to the finals of the 2023 AFCON.

The Federation is looking to replace Jose Peseiro and named what the successor will be expected to have to take charge of the Super Eagles.

Peseiro’s successor will be expected to have relevant coaching qualifications, proven experience at the elite level of football management, a successful track record in leading teams, and a knowledge of African football would be an added advantage.

Application is expected to floor in as a top experienced manager is expected to show interest in the role, as the NFF is in search of someone who can guide the Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, and if possible, be in charge at the 2025 AFCON and 2026 FIFA World Cup.
