Neymar praises Ronaldo for opening Saudi Arabia pro league

NEYMAR jnr, who joined the Saudi Arabia pro league club, Al Hilal from Paris Saint-German, has praised Cristiano Ronaldo for paving the way for top footballers to move to Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo, who joined the Middle East from Manchester United, has seen top players make the switch to the Saudi side less than a year since he made the move to the Al Nassr.

Neymar, who now joins the likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez and Jordan Henderson to play in the Saudi Pro League, has praised the five times Ballon D'or winner for paving the way.

Neymar, who became one of the top players in the World during his time at Barcelona and PSG, will become the second-highest earner in the league, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

He will earn £ 137 million per year during his two-year stint in Saudi Arabia, totalling  £276 million ($351m), while Ronaldo earns £177m ($225m) per season.
