FOLLOWING the win against Newport County at the Carrabao Cup, Wilfred Ndidi strongly believes he could win another silverware with Leicester City this season.

The Nigerian international, who just recovered from a hamstring injury, made his first start for Leicester City in thirty-six days against Newport County and lasted 74 minutes in the 3-0 win.

Ndidi, who was in the squad that won the 2021 FA Cup in May, still sees himself winning more silverware with Leicester, and this time maybe with the Carrabao cup.

Speaking to LCFC TV,  after the win against Newport County, Ndidi said: "Nothing is impossible. We’ve been there before in the FA Cup. It’s very possible because we have that quality in the team.

"If we can stay focused and look forward to the next one, I think it’s really possible.

"We’re moving on to the next game now. This is what we needed, a clean sheet and more goals, just for the confidence for the next one.

"It keeps the team really high with confidence. We’ll see what comes out of that one."

Leicester City will face Mk Dons in the round of 4, on December 19, 2022, which will be after the World Cup in Qatar.
