MOSES Simon’s possible move to Premier League club Nottingham Forest has been hindered by the club president who has made his reasons known.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria winger who plays for France's Ligue1 club, Nantes has been in talks with Nottingham Forest over a possible move to the England side.

Nottingham Forest who recently added two Nigerians to the team; Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis were hoping to bring in Moses Simon.

As it stands, it appears the move won’t be happening after Nantes President, Waldemar Kitam refused to let the player go except if a fee in excess of €20M is agreed upon.

Moses Simon who still has 2 years left on his contract is eager for the move but he would be hoping that Forest returns with a more improved offer. The premier league club are not the only ones interested in the Nigerian, as Ligue1 clubs, Nice and Rennes are also keeping tabs on the player.

Currently, Taiwo Awoniyi is the club record signing after paying Union Berlin €20.5M.
