Manchester City's forward, Ferran Torres out for three months.

Manchester City's forward, Ferran Torres, will be out for a period of 3 months after a fractured metatarsal while away with Spain during his international break.

TORRES picked up the Injury at the semi-finals victory of the UEFA nations league against Italy.

The injury update was made known by the club's manager, Pep Guardiola, during a press conference on Friday, October 15, 2021.

"He will be out for two-and-a half to three months,” Guardiola said at the  press conference.

Guardiola also went ahead to note that he had no issues with how the injury was handled at Spain

“Injuries can happen here at home or with the national team.

“I know how perfectly Luis Enrique( Spain Manager) treats Ferran and the other players the best as possible. He doesn’t want him to get injured.

“They try to take care of him but sometimes it happens. It would be better if it didn’t happen but unfortunately it does," he concluded.

On the good side, Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko are now available for the match against Burney on Saturday after being sidelined before the international break.
