Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku, would not be leaving San Siro this summer according to the club's CEO, Beppe Marotta.

Despite Milan's financial crisis due to the pandemic and Chelsea's interest to sign the 28-year-old, Inter Milan has refused to sell Lukaku this summer.

It appears that the sale of Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain for £51.3 million has helped relieve some of that pressure and they're now in a better position to keep hold of Lukaku.

"From our side, we can say absolutely, Lukaku is not for sale. Lukaku is an important piece on the chessboard available to Simone Inzaghi". Marotta told Sport Media Set.

Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United in the summer of 2019 and has scored 64 goals with 24 of them coming last season as Inter won the Serie A title since 2010.
