LUIS Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in January and has since gone ahead to make 26 appearances including Champions League final appearances with 11goals and assists to his name in all appearances.
The Colombia international has enjoyed success in just the few month he has spent at the club as he won the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea and secured his first piece of silverware as a Liverpool player, then to picked up his second winners medal following the FA Cup final win over the London club.
Unfortunately, he couldn't lay his hands on Europe's most prestigious trophy, the UEFA Champions League trophy, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to 14 times Champion, Real Madrid.
Speaking via a post on Instagram the 25 years old appreciated fans for welcoming him to the club and he promised to ensure to do his possible best to make the dreams of the club come through.
"February 4th was the day you all welcomed me as just one more in the family.Since that day I’ve been dreaming awake, living what I have deeply wished for all my life.And now that you’ve showed me that dreams come true let me assure you we will keep dreaming together. So with all there’s left to win, let it be, because in here I know: I will never walk alone". He wrote.
