Ikpeba sees City losing title to Arsenal

With 69 points already, and 10 games to go for Arsenal, they may knock out second-place Manchester City who now sit second on the table with 61 points and 11 games to go.

1997 African Footballer of the Year, Victor Nosa Ikpeba believes that the English Premier League title would be won by Arsenal, as he sees Manchester City losing consistency.

The Premier League title race is between Arsenal who is top of the table and Manchester City who sits behind them in second.

Arsenal has done a good job since the beginning of the season, as they have proven to be an intimidating force in the league.

Manchester City, on their part, would not be giving the Gunners a soft landing, as they intend to fight to the end to win the trophy which Ikpeba strongly believes Arsenal should win due to Manchester City's inconsistency.

"Arsenal have won six consecutive league games since they lost to Manchester City. Arsenal, in that run, are known to win games from week to week.

"All games are difficult until the end of the season. And I've said it before, Arsenal might win the Premier League.

"Liverpool has a big say in how the title fight goes. They can play the spoilers in the game against Man City. That game is key.

"If City can beat Liverpool in that game, then it will really go down to the wire. That's my feeling but I don't see that consistency in this City side," Ikpeba said on Monday, March 20.

With 10 games to go for Arsenal, the Gunners are 69 points on the table, with 8 points clear of Manchester City who sit second on the table with 61 points and 11 games to go for them.
