ARSENAL midfielder, Granit Xhaka, has made it clear that he would not be leaving the club till he decides he is ready to leave on his own will.

The combative midfielder has made over 230 appearances for Arsenal since joining in 2016, and has also had his ups and down with the club.

The 29-year-old player has redeemed himself since the beginning of the season, and been a crucial part of Arteta rebuild despite being close to leaving the club last season.

Xhaka in an interview took his time to reply rumours hinting that the player was going to be 'exed' at the end of the season.

“Of course, injuries and things like that stop you as well, but nobody can stop me, not the people outside," he said.

“This is why in my head I am so strong. I say that always [to] myself as well, ‘I decide when I leave, nobody else, not the fans, not the people’.

“When I am ready, I will leave. As long as I am ready and I feel good, and I feel I can help the team, I will be here. But because of the people? Because of a bad message? Because of the bad stuff they are doing, speaking and writing? No chance.

Arsenal will be back in action again on Saturday and this time against relegation threatened club Watford and provided there is no injury or illness, Granit Xhaka will be in the selection.
