LEICESTER City boss, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has returned to training which rings joy in Jose Peseiro's ears.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder has been out of action for more than a month, missing a lot of games for the national team and the club as a whole.
Leicester's boss gave an update on the player ahead of their clash against Manchester City on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Rodgers said, "Wilfred Ndidi has been back training with the squad. The most important thing is he’s back training in the squad and he’s looked fine with the players.
"Availability is the important thing and thankfully he’s available. Marc Albrighton was obviously back last weekend. We’re all fine."
The Nigerian international is expected to be named in the squad for the Super Eagles team during the upcoming international friendly when they go up against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal, scheduled to hold at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon on November 17, 2022, just a few days before the World Cup in Qatar.
