Courtois signs contract extension with Real Madrid

REAL Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has signed a new contract to extend his stay at the club till 2026.

The Belgium international would be 34 years old by the time his contract expires in the summer of 2026.

Courtois signed for Real Madrid in 2018 from Chelsea  and after a year became an exceptional part of the club, helping the team conquer the 2019-2020 La Liga title with his brilliant performances after the COVID-19 break.

The Madrid goalkeeper has even been rated as one of the world’s best goalkeepers and also one of Madrid’s best in the squad.

Thibaut Courtois made his 100th LaLiga appearance for Real Madrid in this season’s opener against Alavés at Mendizorroza which saw Madrid win there first game of the season with a 4-1 win.
