Could Mane be wrong to have joined Bayern Munich?

Bayern Munich has not also been at their best, as they have now gone four games without winning in the Bundesliga, sitting fifth on the league table.

SADIO Mane, who left Liverpool for Bayern Munich in the summer, scoring 120 goals in 269 appearances for the Merseyside club, where he started well, has unfortunately seen a decline in his performance.

The current holder of the African player of the year award scored in 4 consecutive games for the German club at the beginning of the season but has now failed to hit the back of the net in Bayern Munich's last 6 games.

It now seems that the player who has been mostly utilized as a centre-forward and at times on the left wing is having issues settling down at the club; something former Bayern Munich defender Phillip Lahm agrees on.

"Mane’s qualities are out of the question, but it’s crucial that roles must be clearly assigned.

"I don’t see that at the moment. I currently don’t understand how the roles are defined. Everyone has to know what they have to do on the pitch," Lahm said, as quoted by Liverpool Echo.

On the other hand, Mane is not to be blamed as Bayern Munich has not also been in their best form as they have now gone four games without winning in the Bundesliga sitting fifth on the league table.
