SPANISH League LALIGA has reduced Barcelona football club spending limit to a negative value of -€144 Million.

La Liga revealed its customary spending limit for the twenty participating clubs with only Barcelona having a negative value as opposed to €97 last year.

Barcelona has been under some financial strains since last year which eventually led to Lionel Messi leaving the club, things didn't get better as the club needed to sign some players in January which has led to some massive downfall in the club's balance.

Hopefully, should the deal with Spotify come through, and with possible sales of players such as Philippe Coutinho, and Antonio Griezmann, the club could make up for some losses.

Taking away the club's financial state, Barcelona is doing considerably well as it is still in the Europa League competition, and currently sits third on the La Liga table following a 4-0 win against Osasuna yesterday.
