BARCELONA has reportedly placed a release clause of £84Million on its new signing, Dani Alves.
Dani Alves signed a six-month deal with Barcelona that will see him return to the club where he spent eight (8) years during his first spell.
The shocking thing about the contract is the release clause attached to it. According to Catalian Radio RAC1, the 39 years old defender has a release clause of £84Million.
This means should any club attempt to sign him during his 6 months at Barcelona they will need to pay the sum of £84Million. This is surprisingly huge for a 39year old player with a 6 months contract.
Alves during his first spell at the club won the Laliga trophy six (6) times, and the Champions League trophy three (3) times. He was recalled back to the team to raise the players moral.
