BARCELONA has finally been able to register its new signing in preparation for the forthcoming season after Gerard Pique agrees to salary reduction.
The club's website announced that Gerard Pique agreed a significant salary reduction which has given way for Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and striker,Rey Manaj, to be registered for the season.
With this in place, Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia and Rey Manaj will be able to feature against Real Sociedad on Sunday as they look to begin there La liga trophy chase.
Barcelona also revealed that it is in discussions with two more experienced members of the squad, Jordi Alba and new captain Sergio Busquets, to adapt their salaries to help the club deal with their financial struggles.
Remember that Barcelona is facing some financial crisis which prevented it from re-signing Lionel Messi who later went ahead to join France club PSG.
