FOLLOWING an expected win against Sheffield United on Monday, Arsenal’s Manager, Mikel Arteta has given an injury/illness update on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Bukayo Saka was substituted out of the game before the start of the second half after providing two assists in the first half while Martinelli was helped off by two physios in the second half.
With the Gunners still coming out 6-0 victorious, many have asked the question on the condition of the players to which the Spaniard responded: “Bukayo was feeling sick and he wasn't feeling right so we decided to take him off and bring Fabio in. We had a little issue with Gabi Martinelli. He had a little cut in his foot. We need to see how it is."
It remains uncertain if both players will be available for Saturday's fixture against Brentford at the emirate. A game the Gunners must win should they want to take advantage of the Manchester City and Liverpool clash on Sunday.
