AFCON23: Super Eagles arrive camp for training

The players, whom Manager, Jose Peseiro has handpicked to represent Nigeria, are expected to begin training on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

THE Super Eagles of Nigeria have started arriving at camp to kick-start preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which is set to take place in Ivory Coast.

The players, whom Manager, Jose Peseiro has handpicked to represent Nigeria, are expected to begin training on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Jose Peseiro and his assistants were the first to arrive at the training camp on Tuesday, while seventeen players have joined the tactician as they kick start the training session.

Players currently in camp are Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Olorunleke Ojo, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Cavin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Bruno Onyemaechi, Chidozie Awaziem, Zaidu Sanusi, Victor Boniface, Bright Onyedika, and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The players are expected to spend one week in Abu Dhabi and face Burkina Faso or Guinea in a friendly before travelling to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON finals.
