SUPER Eagles of Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman, is ready for the next challenge when they play Angola at the quarterfinals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Ivory Coast.
The Atalanta winger scored a brace in the Round of 16 of the tournament against Cameroon, which secured the Eagles’ place in the quarterfinals of the competition, where they will meet Angola.
“It’s going to be a difficult game, but we are looking forward to it. We fought hard for the win against Cameroon and won’t relent in the next game.
“The Angolan team is good, which will make the game more interesting. Our target is to go all the way, and we will fight hard to achieve that,” the 26-year-old told reporters.
Ademola Lookman is expected to retain his place in the starting lineup when the Super Eagles of Nigeria play Angola on Friday.
