Fish Production Training: Participants receive certificates, starter packs

Participants received certificates and start up capital and kits

 

The Senator made this known in a statement in the early hours of yesterday.

The training which took place at the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island,  got the graduating participants all dressed in yellow polo shirts singing the Senator's praises.

The Senator said: There is ii is an "empowerment of another batch  of 100 constituents across Lagos West Senatorial District through my facilitation for two weeks training on Fish Production and Business at Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology."

According to him, apart from the certificates of participation, each participant got a a manual covering all aspects of fish and fish business.

They also got 500 litre water tanks for housing and growing fishes.

He also said that bags of feeds to grow fishes to market sizes were also given to the graduating participants, including fingerlings and seed working capital for running costs.

He revealed that about 1,000 youths are going to benefit in from the scheme before the end of the years."
