Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area recently held its Year 2021 Budget Retreat themed "Budget of Continuity".
The Executive Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Honourable Princess Olabisi Adebajo, appreciated all who were present at the retreat for their inestimable support to the administration.
She made it known that the goal of preparing for the 2021 financial year is to make the very best out of the budget deliberations while ensuring a proactive and sustainable development in the LCDA.
She also appealing for more of commitment, cooperation and support from all the Executives and management staff of the Council.
"Irrespective of the present situation in the country, we just have to live on and cope with it so as to move ahead progressively as a grassroot government."
The Budget of Continuity also saw series of discussions on different projects to be concluded and new projects to be executed by each department as a means to enhance the community, as all the Heads of Departments took turns to defend their departmental budgets.
Lectures on Procurement Process and Order was also given by the Procurement Officer as a means of enlightening the Heads of Departments on the betterment for proper procurement process in the LCDA.
The Y2021 Budget Retreat was attended by all Supervisory Councillors, Heads of Departments, Heads of Units and host of key Council Officials.
The event took place at the Council Multipurpose Hall.
