THE Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo has received a team from the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, the Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources, and the Honourable Member representing Alimosho Constituency 01, Hon. Lukmon Orelope, for stakeholders meeting on a contract awarded for the construction of collector drain at the Water bus stop, Ipaja Road.
During the meeting, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Dayo Osinowo (Papa D), who represented the Adebajo, welcomed everyone present and appreciated Orelope for fighting for the course of his people on the issue of flooding.
The Director of Drainage Construction, Engr Dapo Ajadi, stated that the essence of the meeting is to control erosion, restore sanity, carry the community along on the development, and for them (the community) to serve as a monitoring team towards the construction of the drainage, which will commence shortly.
In line with the preparation of the framework, the Ministry conducted the necessary site investigations, determined priority areas for drainage works, and prepared an estimate for the cost of the project and the recommended action plan, which brought about the stakeholder's meeting in Mosan-Okunola on the construction of collector drain at Water bus stop.
Hon. Lukmon Orelope, who was the brain behind this development, promised not to relent on his oars in facilitating more laudable projects in his Constituency.

A.S Olaniyan; Resident Engineer of the Alimosho LGA; and a host of other Engineers.
