Adebajo kicks off catfish farming training for Mosan-Okunola LCDA residents

The Council says that graduates would be given starter packs after the training, to aid them in becoming independent catfish farmers.

THE Mosan-Okunola LCDA, under the authority of the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Olabisi Adebajo, in conjunction with the Suncountry Farms, today, Monday, September 12, 2022, began a two-week intensive training on catfish farming.

Information reaching Alimoshotoday through the council area affirms that the training is an empowerment program that aims to equip beneficiaries with knowledge of the catfish farming business, adding that graduates would be given starter packs after the training, as this would aid them in becoming independent catfish farmers.

Mosan-Okunola LCDA kicks off catfish training for residents 

The training which is taking place at the Mosan-Okunola LCDA Secretariat Hall would run from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10 am daily.

Facilitators at the event include the Operations Manager of Suncountry Farms, Dr Bello Oluwaseun; Managing Director of Suncountry Farms, Mr Patrick Kalu; and a veterinary diagnostician with the Animal Care Services Konsult, Dr Owolabi Margaret.
