Adebajo distributes school bags, books to primary school pupils in Mosan-Okunola

THE Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Princess) Olabisi Adebajo, has distributed customised school bags and notebooks to Primary School pupils in the LCDA.

Adebajo, in her speech during the distribution on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, said: “As a Local Government, we understand the significance of investing in education and nurturing the talents of our youth.

"These school bags and notebooks are not just simple items; they represent our belief in the potential it hold. They will serve as the tools that accompany our students on their learning journey, enabling them to organise their thoughts, record their ideas, and explore the world of learning.”
 
Adebajo encouraged the students to embrace the opportunity of education, adding that “these school bags and notebooks are starting points that will help shape their future and that they should use them wisely, take notes diligently and let their imagination soar as they fill the pages with their thoughts and ideas.”

She then extended her heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved in making this event a reality. 

"Together, let us celebrate the power of education, and may these school bags and notebooks inspire our students to dream big, pursue their goals, and contribute to the progress and prosperity of our community," she noted.

The event, which took place at Abesan Estate Primary School, had in attendance Hon. Dayo Osinowo, Vice-Chairman; Hon. Olasunkanmi Adefioye; APC Party leaderships, Alhaji Orire, Engr Balaja, Deaconess Rebecca Onasanya, Evangelist Kupoluyi, Hon. Jinadu; Hon. Olasunkanmi Adekola, Deputy Leader; Hon. Ayeni Folashade, Majority Leader; Hon. Ezekiel Ogbodu, Hon. Ahmed Afoke; Hon. Komolafe Abimbola, Super for Education; Hon. Modupe Adelakun, and Supervisor for WAPA, Hon. Prince Adeyemi.5929 

Others include the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Omotayo Ojediran, Super for Information and Strategy; Hon. Lawal Yusuf, S.A Boundary; Hon. Tolulope Falope, Supervisor; Hon. Temitope Falana, Supervisor for Wealth Creation and management staff, led by the Human Resource Officer, Comrade Idris Kasali, among others.
