AFTER AlimoshoToday’s story about the arrest of a suspect in connection to the activities of unknown gunmen in the Oshin area of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA last weekend, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the release of the three persons that were kidnapped during the incident.

According to reports, the victims, two married sisters and a man, were released on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

Although a resident of the area who pleaded anonymity claimed that the kidnappers demanded #15million ransom for the release of the victims, they were, however, released on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, after an undisclosed amount of money was paid.

He also claimed that the community is now deserted since the police officers patrolling the area after the kidnapping incident have been withdrawn and people are scared of a reoccurrence of the incident.
