IN a bid to fulfil the Federal Government of Nigeria’s announcement about the registration of unemployed persons in the 20 local government areas of Lagos State, officers of the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, are now situated at the Igando-Ikotun Secretariat hall, Ikotun, to register unemployed persons in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the exercise will run from today, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, to Friday, May 5, 2023, from 8 am to 4 pm daily.
Recall that the Lagos State NDE office Coordinator, Mrs Serena Edward, in a statement, said the exercise is to allow the Federal Government to have the complete data of the unemployed persons in the country to make adequate plans for them and to curb mass unemployment and reduce the craving for white-collar jobs that are not adequate for the teeming number of graduates churned out every year.
