AS part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde has renovated the Egan Primary Health Centre. 
This upgraded Primary Health Centre, which was achieved by the Akinsanya-led administration in collaboration with some international NGOs, has a state-of-the-art borehole powered by solar energy. It will also be equipped with modern technology equipment and an uninterrupted 24/7 solar power supply.
The community leaders described the development as a “positive turnaround” for residents of the council, noting that the facility would increase access to quality health services for people at the grassroots and further raise the capacity of the State Government in healthcare intervention being delivered.
