THE Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya has appreciated the residents of the council area for their peaceful conduct during the just concluded elections and for ensuring the victory of the candidates of the APC party at the state and national levels.
In his heartfelt gratitude on Monday, March 20, 2023, the council Boss said; “Your input and support can never be overemphasized. You gave us the courage and motivation to work harder and the result is more giant strides of achievement.
“Special thanks to all our traditional rulers, religious leaders, political leaders, union leaders, leaders of associations, leaders of professional groups, market leaders, artisans, and all political party leaders for ensuring that our state remains peaceful during and after the election. You are the real winners.”
Akinsanya then described the APC victory as a reflection of the love people have for the party as well as a re-affirmation of the mandate given to the APC party.
He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the efficiency demonstrated during the election, which he said was an improvement to previous elections.
“I want to express my profound appreciation to the Almighty God for making it possible for our Mr sellable, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to be re-elected as the Lagos State Governor.
