THE Lagos State Police Command has revealed that two suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Ikotun Police Division for allegedly kidnapping a female secondary school student in the Ikotun area of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA.
This development was revealed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, via his X handle, where he wrote: “Ikotun Police Division received information from community members about the presence of strange people moving around their neighbourhood suspiciously.
“The police moved in discreetly, quickly enough to rescue a female secondary school student they had tricked into their car and abducted.
“The suspects, Adamaka Chinyere and Bolajoko Haruna, have been arrested, and their tinted Toyota Camry impounded. They are to be arraigned after an investigation.”
Hundeyin then added that the student has been reunited with her family.
