While addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, rendered his “Account of Stewardship for Two Years in Office” to the attendees.

He clarified his approach to governance and developmental initiatives, adding that as a public servant, it’s expected of him to give a good account of the public funds in his care.

The Council Boss, who rolled out some of the milestones recorded by his administration, said he was able to execute projects based on the availability of funds.

He assured the people that his administration would ensure that the dividends of democracy get to them in a short time and reiterated his willingness to execute more projects in office as the Council boss.8039

In his words: “By God’s grace, I am gradually delivering the electioneering promises I made, and I am going to do more because I promised to render my service until the last day in office.”

He then solicited the support of everyone and promised to continue to operate an open-door policy, as useful suggestions would be welcomed to ensure the rapid development of the council.

Dignitaries that attended the meeting included Members of the G-12, former Executive Chairmen, former Caretaker Chairman, former Councillors and Supervisors, Serving Supervisors,  SLG, and Ward Chairmen were all at the meeting.
