Igando-Ikotun LCDA holds Year 2023 finance staff training, award presentations

THE members of staff of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA finance unit on Monday, March 27, 2023, held their senior finance staff management training and award presentations to committed staff members of the unit.

While speaking at the training tagged “Structural Training on Human Relations and Work Ethics,” the Executive Chairman of the council area, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, encouraged the participants to see the exercise as an opportunity to build on and put to practice the knowledge acquired from the training, adding that negative human relationship is inimical to the success of any organization.

He enjoined the staff to be of good behaviour and to develop positive interpersonal relationships in the workplace. He also admonished the participants to inculcate true virtues of work ethics and also build on personal relationships as it will help in daily activities.

Akinsanya then declared that no form of acrimony or rancour existed amongst them; instead, he mentioned that the level of cooperation and understanding between him and his staff was second to none because the staff, according to him, was proactive and very responsive to issues of rural development, which he said made his job as the Chairman a lot easier.

In his words, “I thank God for the gift of my staff. I can say that repeatedly anywhere, anytime, any day. They come to work every day including Sundays on request.

“Fortunately for me, 99.9% of them are always punctual to duty. So, I must thank God for the gift of my staff. In fact, words cannot express how dedicated they are to duty.

“To the entire management and staff of the local government, thank you for your unanimous support towards the successful bid of our election victory.”
