We are all gathered here today to ensure that we put our Governor Sanwoo-Olu in the hands of God. The presence of Allah is needed in running any administration. Everything starts and ends with God. The Governor has demonstrated that we must put God first in everything we do in our lives.

Igando-Ikotun LCDA holds special prayers for Sanwo-Olu

A large gathering of the management staff of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA on Monday, June 27, 2022, held a special prayer for the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and Lagos State as a whole in commemoration of the celebration of the governor’s 57th birthday anniversary.

According to reports made available for publication by the Media Aide to the Chairman, Comrade Oseni, while speaking on the significance of the occasion, the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, reiterated that the 57 LGAs/LCDAs decided to utilise the period of the governor’s 57th birthday celebration to commit the progress of the state to the hands of God.

“We are all gathered here today to ensure that we put our Governor Sanwoo-Olu in the hands of God. The presence of Allah is needed in running any administration. Everything starts and ends with God. The Governor has demonstrated that we must put God first in everything we do in our lives,” he said.

Akinsanya disclosed that Mr Sanwo-Olu’s purposefulness and dedication to serving the people of Lagos has resulted in unprecedented achievements even in the face of current economic realities.

Akinsanya then called on all students above 18 years and of higher institutions to use the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) so as to enable them to fulfil their civic responsibility of voting in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The gathering was made up of several political office holders, councillors, supervisors, and members of the management team of both the Muslim and Christian religions.
