Twins Faja and Pointek were part of the outlets emptied by rampaging thugs in Ikotun.

DAYS after the Lekki shooting disaster, business owners, government institutions and residents have recorded a haemorrhaging loss of lives, goods and property. Recall that last Thursday was a day of mass looting of shops, supermarkets and phone stores by hoodlums. The Lagos State Government is now set to reimburse affected business owners.

Gbenga Omotosho, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, made this known on Tuesday morning in a tweet.

Hon. Adeshina Williams, the Council Chair of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Alimosho Local Government had gone on an inspection tour of affected places and consequently made a report, to alleviate the pain of the loss and damages recorded.

"Lagos-based businesses who had their stores looted/vandalised, please fill this form by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, LSETF," Omotosho retweeted a post initially made by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
