THE Chief Medical Director of Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, Dr Ayodapo Soyinka has commended the staff of the hospital for the achievements of the facility in the year 2022, noting that it was due to their commitment that the patients of the hospital received the best medical attention and care.
Soyinka stated this at an award ceremony organised to honour outstanding officials and retirees of the Hospital, adding that without the solid foundation laid by some past and retired officials of the hospital, it would be difficult for the hospital to stand out among other general hospitals in Lagos State.
His words: “The year 2022 was a very productive year for us in this hospital, I was impressed by your performance last year. The best way I can describe the just concluded year is outstanding and excellent.”
He expressed the hope of improved medical care, dedication, and a sense of duty from the entire staff of Alimosho General Hospital as the journey of 2023 begins, declaring that the hard work and dedication of the staff will always be rewarded.
While paying tribute to the pioneer Medical Director of Alimosho General Hospital, Dr Bolaji Adebiyi, for setting good precedence for the hospital during his 10-year tenure, Dr Soyinka tasked the hospital staff to be more dedicated in the new year through enhanced service delivery.
Dignitaries in attendance at the event include Commissioners from the State Health Service Commission and Medical Directors from other General Hospitals among others.
