THE All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Alimosho Constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Luqman Olatunji Orelope paid a courtesy visit to the APC Apex Leader in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Jimoh Ajao, at his residence on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday affirms that the visit is part of his consultations with party leaders in the Alimosho Federal Constituency as regards his election bid in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
In welcoming Orelope, Ajao said, “Politics is all about interest and there is no point in fighting ourselves. Politicians go to where their interests are mostly served. You are the candidate of our party for Alimosho Constituency 01, it is incumbent on all of us as party members to rally around you irrespective of group or caucus.
"Your win is our win and a win for everyone."
“When you finally get to the office, do not discriminate based on the caucus, be good to all because politics is beyond the surface.
“I wish you well, you will succeed in this endeavour, and I pray for a long life for you in good health."
Orelope, in his remarks, said "Sir, my visit to you is indeed a homecoming, and I really appreciate you for this opportunity for having me and my team. I will, from time to time, ensure I am in touch with you because you have all it takes to lead and guide me to victory.
“You are an exceptional leader and a worthy role model to many.
"I would not, at any point, disregard your elderly advice and admonition."
