THE family of the late Oba Abayomi Alabi Fagbohun, the first crowned king of Akesan Land, Lagos State, and the native home of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor KK), has donated campaign materials (crested Ankara fabric) to his election bid.
The House of Reps Candidate, who received the materials with great enthusiasm, felt humbled and honoured by the show of love and support from his native community's highly respected Royal Family.
He was touched by the gesture and prayed for God to continue to protect and bless the Royal Family.
It should be noted that Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, SAN, the immediate Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU), whose administration brought the institution tremendous academic and administrative success and transformation, is the late monarch's son.
