AS charity begins at home, the family of Saaka Koshebinu of Akesan Town, in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA and the home of the APC House of Representatives candidate in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor KK) has contributed campaign materials to his 2023 election bid.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the family, represented by the Chief Imam of Akesan Land, Alhaji Bashiru Akanji Koshebinu, with great enthusiasm, presented the materials (exercise books) to Ayuba at his hometown in Akesan, Lagos State.
It should be noted that, on different occasions, Ayuba has explained where the political name "Mayor K.K." emanates from.
According to him, the name Mayor came from the fact that there is youthful representation in different capacities, hence the title "Mayor of Youth, while the first "K" came from the Kosoko Royal family of Lagos Island, the home of his maternal forebears, and the second "K" is from Koshebinu, his paternal family clan in Akesan, Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Lagos State.
