AS the countdown to the 2023 general elections continues, the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Igando-Ikotun LCDA Chapter has endorsed and donated campaign materials to the APC House of Representatives candidate in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Barrister Ganiyu Adele Ayuba.
In his address, the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Arowosafe Shina, noted that their decision to endorse and support the APC candidate is premised on his antecedents and good character when he was the Special Adviser on Urban Development to the Lagos State Governor, where he served meritoriously.
The Chairman affirmed that their members, having enjoyed the prevailing peace, unity, and progress in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, most especially in the Igando-Ikotun LCDA which, according to him, has made it easier for their activities as civil servants to thrive, also stressed that they are determined to ensure the sustenance of the same and beyond the current administration led by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
The chairman then promised that the union would still donate more campaign materials to show solidarity and support to the House of Reps hopeful.
Ayuba while appreciating the union chairman and his entourage for their support assured them of the government's continuous and responsive representation before and after the general elections.
The APC candidate was accompanied to the presentation by the Abe Igi Leadership Forum, among them was: Hon. Gbemileke Adeyemi, the Secretary of the Abe-Igi Leadership Forum, who also doubles as the Supervisor for Budget and Statistics in the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA; Hon. Mutiu Adebiyi, the Vice Chairman of Egbe Idimu LCDA; Hon. Wale Azeez, the former Supervisor for Works in Igando-Ikotun LCDA; amongst others.
