TOWOBOLA,12, got a gift of N20,000 from his uncle when he turned 10 two years ago. He didn’t buy a new school bag he needed as at then, nor did he buy himself a bicycle he had always wanted since he was 5; instead, he bought 2 three-month-old bunnies, a buck and a doe, and made his dad construct a cage for their shelter. Now, Toto, as called by his dad, is aiming for something big as his rabbit farm gradually takes shape.

Towobola is working toward housing a minimum of 1000 rabbits by October 1, 2022. He said, “Female rabbits (does) can give birth 5 times in a year.

What will a 12-year-old kid who wants to be a musician in the future want to do with one thousand rabbits?

“I will be selling them! Rabbit is good protein and it is very sweet”.

Again, we asked him how he will sell all those delicious 'fluffy proteins' of his?

“Through the Internet. My dad promised he will make a website for me. He said we will call it www.towobolarabbits.com and that we can sell them online. I also write stories, so I will write funny stories about my rabbits that will make people like them and buy them.

"That one there (pointing to a beautiful brown rabbit) her name is Bola and she likes playing a lot. I have written a story about her already. People will like to buy her if they read her story”.

There are so many amazing things kids do that could have a positive impact on our society. Thanks to FrieslandCampinaWAMCO who is helping us bring amazing kids in Alimosho community out in the open and possibly, set them on their own flight for the Peak.
