NIGERIAN songwriter and vocalist, Simi has advised people to keep their emotions intact should they decide to trade words with Nigerians online and offline.
The award-winning singer shared her opinion while trying to educate people that they should be emotionally ready should they decide to face Nigerians verbally, as they would say anything to win.
Speaking in a video, Simi advised them to thread carefully when fighting Nigerians as they would not only attack the person but also attack the person's parents if possible.
She said: “Look, if you are not emotionally strong, you should never never get into a word fight with a Nigerian. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
“When a Nigerian gets into a word fight with you, they are fighting to win…there’s nothing they won’t say. And when they are done with you, they face your parents.”
An example of what Simi said could be seen on the social media platform “X,” which saw Nigerians drag West African neighbours, Ghana after they could only secure two points out of a possible nine at the ongoing AFCON23 Group stages.
