FOUR Nigerian acts, Asake, Rema, Ruger, and Shallipopi, have been announced to perform at the 2024 Wireless concert at Finsbury Park in the United Kingdom.
The concert, which will run from Friday, July 12, 2024, to Sunday, July 2024, will see the four artists perform at the festival, which will also be headlined by other top international artists.
The star-studded lineup includes American rappers Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, and Ice Spice, British rappers J Hus and 21 Savage, and Jamaican Dancehall legend Sean Paul.
Asake and Shallipopi are expected to take the stage on July 13, with 21 Savage & J Hus headlining while Gunna and Sexy Redd will also be performing as supporting acts.
On July 14, Rema and Ruger will be performing, with Doja Cat headlining while South African music star Tyla and Swaziland's hitmaking DJ Uncle Waffles will be performing as supporting acts.
This continues to prove that Nigerian music is highly respected in the country and beyond the shores of Africa as a continent.
