1. DINNER AT MY PLACE
This romantic comedy is a story about Nonso, a Nigerian-American man who is planning to propose to his girlfriend while she is having dinner at his place. However, things take a turn for the worst, when his ex-girlfriend unexpectedly shows up.
2. THE NEW NORMAL
The New Normal takes us into the lives of four couples and a single friend as they navigate individual and collective issues of discrimination, misogyny, addiction, mental health, infertility, and nepotism while trying their best to keep up appearances and escape society’s suffocating boots, with often hilarious and always surprising results.
The movie is ambitious, grappling with every targeted issue with appropriate humour, emotions, and maturity and did not drop the ball on any of them.
3. COLLISION COURSE
The film simultaneously tells the story of a police officer struggling to make ends meet and an upcoming artiste. The police officer sets up a roadblock to collect bribes. At the roadblock, he meets the artiste and mistakenly shoots him dead. The events that followed would eventually lead to the police officer's arrest.
4. C.O.L.D
Caught in a web of his own creation, Bishop Charles Richmond is faced with doing whatever it takes in retaining his position as the most popular and influential black preacher with the biggest congregation even if it means falling out of favour with God.
His most trusted ally, Pastor Camalot who cunningly finds her way into his heart is determined to take down anyone resisting her rise to the top as the head of the Church with the help of Capone Diabolos.
C.O.L.D talks about the church today and how the devil infiltrates the church. It also talks about the quest for leadership and power in the church. It addresses how most churches have turned from serving God to accumulating wealth. It also shows how people are so deeply rooted in their love for power that they even kill themselves.
