The Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commenced the rehabilitation of Ogunlana Street in conjunction with the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon.
Recall that AlimoshoToday had reported that shop-owners, motorcyclists and residents of Ogunlana Street in Egbeda have lamented over the bad state of the road, especially when there is a heavy downpour.
In another report, shop-owners and cyclists on Ogunlana Street also bemoaned the effects of the bad road on their businesses, especially during the rainy season.
The Senior Special Adviser on Health to the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Mr Lasisi Taiwo, in response to these claims had told AlimoshoToday that the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has liaised with the Lagos State Public Works Department (LSPWC) on the state of roads in Alimosho Local Government and that, very soon, work will commence in other areas according to the schedule.
Now, work has commenced on Ogunlana Street with the pouring of granites on the road. In line with LSPWC schedule, more work is expected to be done.
